Journée du batik

The Independent School of Jakarta (ISJ) celebrated Batik Day with colour, pride, and a spirit of cultural learning!

Students, teachers, and staff wore traditional batik attire and took part in activities that explored the cultural importance of Batik to Jakarta and Indonesia. The campus was filled with excitement as the ISJ community came together to honour this cherished national heritage and deepen their understanding of Indonesia’s artistic traditions.
